or....drool...
French bread with Feta cheese with NZ clover honey on it

I am very partial to mango chutney with a mature cheddar Wink with good wholemeal bread.

I must confess  to liking any sort of preserve in a sandwich tbh, my favourite as a child ( and most definitely comfort food these days) was strawbwerry jam with cheese.

And if I really need cheering up, it has to be fishfinger sandwiches Laughing but fortunately I don't get to eat them very often Wink

I luuuuurve loads of different fillings, but can never find one I fancy if I go to the shop!!

egg mayo - has to be wholemeal bread
cheese, onion & tomato - granary bread
Bacon - just bacon, no sauce - must be white bread

In a toastie it has to be a special cheese - innkeepers (pickled onions in the cheese) or something similar.

I'm supposed to cut down on the bread to see if it helps with the bloating and tummy probs, but I don't know what else to have for lunch!!  Are wraps any better for you?

I just can't do salads every day in winter, and I gurgle too much if I have soup with no bread!

I like BLTs a lot - has to be very crispy bacon though.

Sometimes I would kill for an M&S Prawn and Mayonnaise.

(It's ok  - please don't offer to send me one, anyone!)

Hmmmm, that's a tough question cos it usually just depends what mood i am in Rolling Eyes

Definitely cheese and pickle, but i do like egg mayo and pickle, or egg mayo and crispy hot bacon... a jam sammidge is good too, but i reserve cheese and strawberry jam for cream crackers Very Happy

Peanut butter and Piccallilli is one.

Feta cheese and suncried tomatoe with salad is another.

Or avocado/pear/brie and grape with cranberry (Streat)

All on brown or granary.
