|
|
I'm attempting to make a lining for my Booga bag tonight- I've got plenty of fabric (well, probably enough for another go if I mess it up!). I'm going to put a zippered pocket in - I think I'll be ok with that as I've done a pocket of the right type before - but minus a zip - and I've got some good instructions of how to do this bit.
I also want to put a 'patch pocket' in to fit a mobile phone - I'm guessing I need it to stick out a bit ( what's the technical term for that hehe!) - no good just sewing on a flat piece of fabric. I'm wondering what's the easiest way to do this? It needs to have some kind of gusset or something? Hmmmmm. HELP!

For the mobile phone pocket you need to cut the width bigger than you need and then you kind of pleat the sides so that the sides are caught under the bottom edge, if that makes sense?? I'll show you what i mean tomorrow _________________

I'd go for a gusseted pocket for your mobile - but much easier for someone to show you than to explain!!
Have fun tomorrow!
