Have you guys checked out Burda-Style? It's an open source website for patterns.

Members can download the free patterns available and also upload their own designs. Many of the patterns are very straightforward and easy to modify/personalise. There's also loads of 'how-to's' explaining simple things such as making gathers and sizing patterns up or down.

Here's a link to one of the blouse patterns available, and here's the creations page where members post their creations.

The site still needs some work but the principle is a great idea. If anybody is up for it, we could have a sew-along. I haven't made any clothes for myself since I was in school so I'm up for a challenge.
