Our's is coming up in a couple of weeks. |
It's Turriff Show and I enter into the industrial section so it's only for competition. I'm not as serious as some and it makes me laugh cos at the end of the day it really depends on the judges tastes. Some years you get a judge that likes a well fired look etc and all the burnt or overly brown items in the baking get the prizes, then other years you get a paler judge and the un cooked looking ones get them. As long as you remeber it's just for fun it's a hoot! _________________

Those are lovely! I really like the colours, and you've matched the stripes perfectly. _________________

That's what stress does for me. Knitting helps me to just shut off my mind and concentrate on something completely different. I know you can't ignore your problems for ever but at least we are allowed some time away from them?
Doubt I'll even get one pair made in August though as I cast on for Martha yesterday afternoon. I have Sweet Peas lined up for Chrissy's April yarn(I think) so we'll have to see.
