will I finish a whole pair of socks this month???? That's a huge question. I've finished sock number one of Sockamania July pair. So I ought to get the pattern typed up and knit up the 2nd sock to test knit the pattern really. I've also got probably about 5 socks which need a partner. My Sockamania June pair (River Valley Toe up) 2nd sock is started but only just. I've also got a 'Rainforest' pair in YY which I'm about halfway on the 2nd sock.
So what am I knitting these days??? Lace, lace, lace. And because I'm spending time dyeing/ skeining and reskeining yarn I've foudn I've got less time to knit. That's not good.
So my challenge for the rest of this week is to finish a pair of socks. Who thinks Ican do it? Well, I know I can knit one sock in nearly a week but have I got the willpower to leave my 2 lace projects and get on with socks? And with the Mystery Stole starting this week, I'm not so sure.

| Try to set a target of getting your pair of socks finished by Friday, thats what I am hoping to do, got to the heel of my second sock and trying not to get tempted by new projects as I know I will have mystery stole on Friday |

You can do it
I've got my Sockmania socks to finish this week - just about to start the increases for the heel (toe up) but I'm procrastinating now too. Do I do my swatch for MS3 so I can order some lace needles or get on with socks... or should I clear the table and put the dishwasher on?

I hope you're allright Fi. The rain is supposed to be moving away soon according to thenews a little while ago. Scary seeing all those pics on telly. We're lucky we don't live in a flood risk area. If our town flooded half of Cornwall would be underwater. Altough there are places in town they get flast flooding but we're at the top of a long hill.
No sock knittig tonight. But I've got a feeling I might be up during the night. My neck pain is very, very bad tonight (probably all the dyeing and reskeining I did this morning) so doubt I'll sleep through the night. Got severe head ache too. Taken painkillers and sleeping tabs (take them everynight) but not done much so far. If I do get upduring the night. I'll try and get on with finishing my Rainforest.
