I was laid in bed last night thinking of making a rag doll each for my two nieces for christmas this year, then I found this link Shocked How bizarre!!!!!

Haven't made a rag doll for years. Made a felt squirral and a huge furry owl as well Very Happy And a family of dressed mice, all while I was a mere teenager Very Happy

My favourite dolls to sew are the Steiner dolls - they have such lovely faces.
I've got a knitted pattern for a doll too - used Jamieson's 2ply as the yarn.
