I forgot to post a progress picture of these after I finished the first one and now I've finished them ( there's a progress picture in a blog entry earlier in the month)
They are made from the BFF pattern designed by Cookie A and available free via her blog. They are knitted in koigu which was divine to knit with.

I love these. They are scrumptious looking. Was the pattern easy/medium etc? _________________ " Onen i-Estel Edain, U-chebin estel anim"

I thought it was pretty easy. The only other cables I've done before was when making Fetching gloves from Knitty. I didn't have much koigu left though - I knitted the second size but I've got size 4 feet so if you had much bigger feet, you would need a third skein of koigu.

Really lovely socks Paula - I like the ribby effect - I'll bet it makes them snug. _________________
