Glynis I look in People's Friend too for patterns but I have been known to buy it for one of the other articles Shocked  Laughing  Laughing They do nice articles about places in Scotland - cos it is a Scottish magazine after all Wink And the recipes are lovely as are the ones in WW. But oh dear ......... Wink

However other than a knitting magazine or one of the upmarket monthlies, there is very little on the magazine shelf I would consider buying these days - I find the covers of the majority of the others distressing to just look at  Confused

I bought a copy today, I do like the sweater. The neck is very low but I would wear a tshirt or cami with it. I will have to watch out for more patterns it is good value

That's progress at least Ali.  You could easy follow the pattern if you can make all those wonderful toys.
I thought the article on being a good granny by Jane Fearnly-Whittingstall (Hugh's mum) was good too.  I'm not a granny yet but would be handy  -  for future reference you understand. Laughing

This neckline's just too low for my jubblies as they are over the hill with Glynis!

My jubblies are not only over the hill but going back up the other side but I like deep "Vs" on tops and wear a cami under them....

Do like the look of the jumper will have to go and see if I've left it to late to get a copy...  I remember reading WW at my Granny's (my mum never bought magazines)..

Can I just say she has a book on a similar subject which is a very good read!
