It's the noncholant "I made the pattern up" that gets me! They look fabulous CatKnit, they really do, like rhubarb and custard!

LOL, Joy, I very rarely follow a pattern to the letter so bunging in a fancy stitch around the leg is just my way of getting round a boring plain sock (I just need to find a st pattern that divides by the right number)

Evil or Very Mad Dh was being very helpful last night and put a load of washing into the machine including my January socks Sad
they have shrunk to DD2 size and the colour ran into the toes and heels which are now a peachy colour.
DD2 is seriously pleased tho, she has some new socks and they're even softer than before and slightly fuzzy. Whilst I wouldn't recommend this, I might just try it again with some other Posh Yarns stuff in the stash, I never really thought of felting it but could be interesting....there's a sock club colour I'm not too keen on which might just find itself becoming a bag

Ohh how awful - I hope you make him feel really bad & that he takes more care in future.

Plus a warning for us all regarding the PY in our stashes!
