WOW! That's really unusual isn't it! Definitely not your run of the mill slug Laughing

It is in fact a leopard slug and i found you some footage of them doing the do Very Happy

No - I hate slugs and I fling them as far into the woods as far as I can from my back garden or like Joy use salt .....     Sad

but don't kill leopard slugs,

for anybody who watched Springwatch last week, they talked through the benefits of this slug, they grow to 7 - 8".  They do not eat your plants or lettuces but eat other stuff.

They also showed them doing the 'birds and bees' and it was fascinating   Shocked

Talking of Springwatch, hasn't Mr Packham (who happens to be my best friends neighbour, not that I have ever met him) brought a whole new/better feel to the programme   Very Happy

Oops, I found one of those , had a good look at it as it was new to me, and , er , squished it,
whilst muttering 'the only good slug is a dead slug'.
can't bring myself to watch what they get up to at the mo.
