I had this week all planned out - filling the freezer with shopping and home-baking, a really big tidy up, and some knitting. Well, quite a bit of knitting, actually.

Now I am working Monday to Friday full time in a temp job (which I couldn't afford to turn down) and am helping out a friend at the local market on Saturday and Sunday  Shocked   Rolling Eyes

So I had better reduce my internet time and get on with the knits.  The rest can wait till next week, and I won't be working!!

This is the mad mad woman who decided last Thursday that she would make a February Lady Sweater as a Christmas gift  Shocked  Shocked  Laughing
I am just about to finish the back, only have the sleeves left  Very Happy

Linda

No Glynis - this woman has a luvverly DH who does loads of things around the house so I can knit all his rellies their Christmas gifts!!  When I come in I have a coffee and knit for half an hour or so, we make a meal together, then I knit in front of the TV until bedtime!!  We haven't been out for ages, and I don't feel like I've made anything for me either. Well, I have, but just the warm essentials.

I'm one of those people who just "goes at it" when I have a target in mind.

Linda

I'm quite sure you know how many sleeps there are to go Laughing

I make it 9 sleeps till Christmas Day  blobl4

I was quite productive last week - I made and froze 5 dozen mince pies and 3 dozen sausage rolls, wrapped most of everything and posted all my post. Everything that can be done in advance and frozen is done, even the red cabbage has been braised, it's just fresh shopping to think about next week.

Oh how I love my freezer  heart

Tomorrow is main presents to wrap, Thursday is white tornado day and then everything else will just happen.

I need to be well organised because of work. This year I am working on both Christmas Eve and Christmas morning as well as Boxing Day.

I quite enjoy working tbh. And when it's done, it's done and I can spend time at home. It's not as though I have little ones to think about.

Mr A has been heard to tell people that the freezer was all HIS idea Wink

Bless Laughing
