Just a quick question that is silly but I am not sure!
When you handsew, say toys or little things, do you use a doubled thread or single? I have always used double but I think that it affects the finished look. I was always worried about it coming apart!
thank you,
Lin x

| I have always used double when hand sewing, my mum used to make teddies and used doubled thread too, so dont know if I just do it because she did. |

Depends what I sew - for Teddies, yes definitely double thread, and anywhere else that needs strength. But if it is something small and strength of stitching isn't an issue, or where it would show then I would use single thread.
