I've only just realised that my sister's birthday (next Thursday)  has crept on me by surprise, so these can be added to her parcel. I had to try them on to see if they were ok though, it will be hard parting with them  Wink  They are very girly and comfy to wear. I did modify the original pattern as I said previously, with a stocking stitch sole and toe. Other than that I followed everything to the letter. Bye bye socks Crying or Very sad You were a pleasure to make.

Oh they are lovely Very Happy Isn't your sister lucky!

If I made them I'd have to have a stocking stitch sole as well.

Thanks, I'm sure she'll like them....if she doesn't I'll snaffle them back Wink I taught her how to knit socks last year but she doesn't seem to have caught the bug like some of us. Oh well, I'll keep on trying. One day I'll have her spending her time scouring the internet for that must have pattern and to die for yarn  Laughing
