I wore my first pair of socks that I knitted when I took my oldest son to a X Country meet yesterday afternoon. It was cold and raining, but in my socks and Scarpas I was toasty warm!! Very Happy

And may I say how lovely all your Christmassy avatars are! I have seen little touches creeping in during the day...

You're on, Anni Wink ! Am just finishing off a pair for DP tonight and will try to assemble the others from their precarious positions around the house (DD1/2 seem to be allergic to the washing basket and leave them in the most bizarre corners ... then wonder why they run out of clean socks!!)
