I've got about 3 decs up so far. Doing the main decorarting next weekend. We've chosen our tree in a field and going to get it on Friday.

Got presents left to get, cards left to  post (some have got to go abroad), presents for inlaws in Scotland to post, silver cutlery to clean, pics to hang in the lounge after our recent decorating, nag Simon to hang curtain rail (after decorating) in the dining room so I can hang the curtain which need shortening and I'm getting really beep off that he's been promising me to do this for the last week and still not done it. At this rate he'll be taking up the curtain.

Also got all the food shoping and prep to do. All hte cleaning to do and a mountain of ironing. Got nothing nice to wear for Christmas and neither have the girls so planning a dress down Christmas.

Oh, and it's the small matter of the club yarn to dye this week. Somethign which Simon promised me he'd help me with this weekend. But as it needs skeining before dyeing he's not lifted a finger.

In fact, he's really bugging me right now as he's not doing much to help with anything. Think spending two weekens decorating took it out of him. But still, there's lots to do and if I psend all next weekend and Christmas Eve flat out doing stuff I'll be in too much pain to enjoy Christmas Day.

I was so exhausted last night I went to bed at 7.30 feeling really ill. Had to drag myself out of bed at 7.30 this morning and I'm really tired again. Still got a cold, neck/back really bad. Still trying ot finish off some stupid novelty scarves for my neighbour and scarves for SIL and her husband which Simon begged me to knit. They've got to make their way to Scotland too before Christmas.  Confused

And to top it all off, I'd rather  be packing up to go to Norway now. For one thing, that'd mean that my Mum would do Christmas and I would just have to turn up with my nice clothes and presents.  Very Happy there might be snow and to be hones, I don't like Christmas in England. NEver have done and don't think I never will. To me Christmas will always be on Christmas Eve in Norway. Sad

So Happy Christmas everyone!

You sound like you've got it worse than me Debs.

I  went to the hair dressers this morning and then did some shopping, got present for Ness from my sister, present for Em from us and a present for Simon wich is huge and I think it might be too big. It's a coffee machine but I think it's gonna be too big for the ktichen. Will have to open the box to see how big it actually is. was ordered in Argos so obviously I didn't see how big it was until after I'd paid for it.

Got to get it wrapped if I decide to keep it as it's too big to store away anywhere in secrecy.

In the next 2 hours I need to wrap some parcels (yarn and Cristmas parcels) to take to the PO, fold and put away about 4 loads of laundry and put some more on. Have lunch. Sort out a present and card for Ness' key board teacher who's coming at 3.30.

Also got some yarn in to soak to dye a trial skein of te club yarn for January to work out the exact recipes etc before doing the main dying tomorrow.

This evening Ive got to finis skeining the yarn for the club to be dyed tomorrow.

Also need to pop out to the PO. REalised I've forgotten several Cristmas cards, some of wich have to go abroad.  Rolling Eyes

And what I really, really want to do is fall asleep. Just so tired, my 12 hour sleep on Saturday night obviously wasn't enough, my neck isn't too good either. Simon is working late tonigt so no help from him, altough he's no help most of the time anyway.

Need to go through the stuff  Igot for the girls' stockings to make sure I've got enough and roughlythe same amount for both of them and sort out some presents for my god daugter and her sister. And I've got to go and tell my nieigbour I won't be doing two brown fun fur scarves for her as everywhere seem to be sold out of brown Funky Fur. Yippee as I didn't want to do them anyway. Got to finish a cream one I'm doing for her today.

Oh and I've got to type up a pattern and try to get some photogrpas of a new design ready for a submission deadline this week. The design is knitted to fit me but I'm NOT modeling it so want to get Ness to model it but need to pin it before hand and the time between ehr coming home from school and it getting dark isn't very long and she as a keyboard lesson too.

Things can only get better.............

And no, I shouldn't be on here. Not got the time. Should be folding 3 zillion pairs of girls socks instead. But I think I'l ljsut try to ignore that and go and read some blogs to cheer me up.
