Well these are either 4 months too late or 8 months too early, its part of the Jean greenhowe nativity set I'm knitting. I am using left over sock yarn instead of DK and its working out well, you get a more mottled look with the 2 strands of varigated together,
Now got to knit more socks so I have bright leftovers for the kings

LOL! They really are shepherds! I was expecting it to be a pattern name and to find it was socks or something Great shepherds, and the sheep are pretty cool too  _________________

Oh they are so fab! And what a good idea to do them bit by bit now rather than waiting until the last minute. As Joy says, it is lovely to see them being made and building up the set
