Pattern from here, she calls it Bird of a feather but  think it looks more like bricks. Knitted with opal neon and the leftover grey from my bayerische socks. Got loads of neon left so its a good pattern for small amounts of sock yarn.

No, its really simple, you knit the dark colour for 2 rows  then when you do the bright rows you slip every 8th stich, this slipped stitch makes the bright stripe look like blocks, its almost as simple as a basic striped sock, very little thinking required and you only ever work with one colour at a time.
