I have recently started knitting for Knit a square after having stumbled on their website and been moved by what they do.  I am particularly impressed by they way they involve people in the poor areas in sewing the squares into blankets for distribution to the orphaned children, which increases their self esteem as well.

Mansize sock question
My final pair of thingmas sock knitting will be a man size pair.  I know I need 68 sts for his width.  The length of the leg and foot are near enough 11".  Will I need more than 2 balls of Regia to complete them?

Being on a time restriction, I'd hate to start top down and not have enough to complete the toes.  He has a highish arch so top down is a necessity as I don't know how to knit a heel flap toe-up and short row heels don't have enough "give" in them. ...
Bottle Cover anyone?
Can anyone remember which Simply Knitting had that mad furry wine bottle cover in it please? Or any other dk bottle holder will do.

I did a spot more of mine at the weekend, and finished the back  



And I've cast on one of the fronts already and motoring along with it.  The flip side of me getting back into this though is that I've completely lost interest in the CPH ....  Rolling Eyes  Laughing
