Some more socks from roving that I dyed and then spun.
My next big project is socks from fleece.

Plus some little sockie key rings I have made from left over sock yarn.

Wow, fantastic. They look brilliant. I keep thinking of spinning some yarn for socks. I'm just owrried about how hard wearing they would be. I'm not worried about my normal hand knitted socks wearing out if I'm using commercial yarn but with handspun I'd want it to last longer after all the effort putinto it.

Fabulous socks! Must feel so satisfying. You'll be keeping a sheep in the garden next.

Anni. If you saw my first handspun socks you wouldn't worry about wear - they were so overspun they almost stand up by themselves. The house could burn down and my socks would be standing proud in the midst of the ashes...

Love the colour of the big people socks.

The keyrings are cute too.

Laughing  Maybe i should make my next spinning project sock yarn. Got some gorgeous merino/bamboo and merion/tencel blends.
