Not socks  Shocked  Very unusual for me  Laughing This is the Lace Ribbon Scarf from Knitty.  Lovely pattern, I'll definitely be making this one again  Very Happy  Yarn is Panda Silk in Plum Tones.

Do you think it would be as nice in "normal" sock yarn or does it need the shininess of the silk?

I'm sure any sock yarn will be fine, it certainly doesn't have to be silk.  I've been looking on Rav and people have used all sorts  Very Happy
