Hmmm - almost at the toe of first sock. Not sure I'm going to manage a pair this month! _________________ Sharon |

I refuse to show DH those socks because I need to finish the ones I've started for ME and also have promised DD2 that the next pair will be for her since DD1 has had all the knitting attention lately, but he would love those socks, and the colour is really 'him' (blues& browns although he is quite fond of bright socks and has no problem with wearing a pink sweater he bought for himself when unsupervised) _________________ Current wips-too many to list

that is one fantastic sock! I'm loving that pattern, and it looks amazing in that colourway!
That's another one from SKS I shall have to try out. Mr FC doesn't do patterned socks, only plain ones will do what a shame I shall just have to make them for myself _________________

I finished the first sock this morning! It fits OH really well and he really likes it (it fits me too haha!). I'll be casting on the next one this weekend - hopefully tonight. Hoping I can manage a pair this month after all!I think this is the best sock I've made yet. I really love how the heel turned out with the garter stitch edging - it works out really neat.

Thanks I've just made OH help me wind the 2nd skein so I can cast on later. I started looking through SKS for my next pattern and got told off as I already have so many WIPs! _________________ Sharon |
