it's quite easy really - I don't like DPN's - I'm dangerous with them as I tend to have my knitting quite close to my face (rubbish eyesight) - I've almost poked an eye out a couple of times now! I find 2 circs much safer!! Be happy to give you a demo sometime!

I like that stitch pattern - funny I've never noticed it in SKS, must be that you have chosen a nicer colourway!!!! _________________ Claire

The pattern and yarn really look good together. I think the pattern is the Basket Weave Rib pattern from SKS (I knitted this pattern a few weeks ago) and I recognised the yarn colour too as I'd been admiring CJ's socks which were knitted in the same colour... _________________ Hawkesley

Well, it's coming along ok - I started the heel flap last night - I'm about 2/3 of the way through that now. Going to spend the rest of the day in front of the fire knitting _________________ Sharon |

I'm getting on well with the sock. Turned the heel yesterday and started the gusset decreases. I really like how the gusset has worked out - it's the neatest picking up of stitches I think I've done on a sock yet. I think the edging on this one helps. I was worried at first as the pattern doesn't get you to slip stitches at the edge (which I thought made it nice and easy to pick up stitches later) and I was concerned how it would turn out. So - I've learnt something new
