I started these ages ago (August - eeek!). I really need to finish some of my WIPs so I'm really going to try and finish these this month. They are for my OH and I'm feeling guilty that I haven't finished them yet. The yarn is Lorna's Laces - can't remember the colour. I did a few more rows last night and once I've finished my 'fetchings' (hopefully tomorrow) I promise to concentrate on these socks!!!

These look lovely! It's no wonder though that we secrete men's socks off to quiet corners and avoid finsihing them .... they have such big feet ! Think this is Jeans colourway ... how sad am I??? I obviously hang around in shady places (online shops !) drooling over yarns ....

Look at you with your socks on 2 circ's. Perhaps you can give me some lessons...a trip to the pub maybe. _________________ Kate

These are great. The stitch shows the yarn off a treat.

Thanks for the nice comments! The pattern is from Sensational Knitted Socks. It's quite simple but really effective. OH picked it out. It seems slow to knit up though - I think LL is a bit thinner than Opal. I should probably be using smaller needles but the thought of using less than 2.5mm is just too scarey!!!
