decided it was time I harvested all my gooseberries and make some jam Whose bright idea was it to get bushes with thorns? oh yeah twas mine My leg is bleeding and so is one of my fingers and that was just one bush And boy do those thorns hurt Oh bother don't think I have enough sugar to make the jam tonight

The bushes have thorns on for a very good reason - to keep people away from their horrid yukky berries  _________________ Ali

My bush is just dripping with berries Will take a photo later and weigh them I pruned the other bush but it still only gave me half a dozen and they were all mouldy  _________________ ravelry id : janice61

| My poor gooseberry bush got all its leaves chewed off by nasty little caterpillars - needless to say the traumatised plant gave not a single gooseberry this year! |
