Mr Melody and I were discussing this at teatime this evening:
Oven chips?
Homemade Potato wedges?
Fry your own potatoes into chips?
go on - tell me!

Homemade wedges for me Or sometimes little cubes of potatoes parboiled and then done in the oven till really golden and crunchy.
Though, I bought a little deep fat fryer from Lakeland a little while ago and the temptation of trying chips in it is getting stronger

I voted other because I've just bought a Tefal Actifry. It makes a kg of chips using only 15ml's of any oil of your choice.
I love fresh chips so this way I can hopefully still be able to stick to the Slimming World diet and have chips

Hardly ever make chips cos of the fattening aspect but do occasionally succumb to chip shop chips or some Tesco spicy wedges with sour cream dip
When I was younger and always skinny I used to make my own in a chip pan a lot - I LOVE proper homemade chips. _________________ Ali xxx |

I do oven chips because I never will have a deep-fat fryer in my home............hate them. I also love chip shop chips occasionally, but I prefer potatoes from the steamer anyway _________________ " Onen i-Estel Edain, U-chebin estel anim"

I mostly make potato wedges with a sprinkling of Season All and Paprika and a spray of Fry-Light or Olive Oil, but I do keep oven chips in the freezer as well! _________________ Sarah
