Don't worry Melody - I didn't take it the wrong way! Thank you all for your input, I really appreciate it. It's great to get a different perspective on something like this as it's so easy to get tunnel vision when you're trying to hit the right note in a response.

The email has been sent (cc'd to the organiser) and I fell better for getting it sent. Anyone like to take a bet on whether I get a reply?

I'm going to be optimistic about it and bet that you DO get a reply.  Although I'm not willing to bet that it's either grateful or apologetic.  Rolling Eyes Fingers crossed!   Very Happy
