I am absolutely gobsmacked. I cannot believe someone could be so rude.
Even if for some completely unknown reason she didn't like it, you'd think she'd email and offer it back to you knowing how much work must have gone into it, it's incredible to think she can't acknowledge it in some way. _________________ Claire

Gill, that's really shameful, I was brought up to be polite and I can't think of anything more impolite (and that's putting it very mildly) than the treatment you have been subjected to. I can only hope she finds out about all the comments and is suitably embarrassed.
All I can say is that if it was me I'd be over the moon to be on the receiving end of such luxurious beauty and hard work and want to heap praise on the maker. _________________ Failures are finger posts on the road to achievement.

I'm also gobsmacked that someone can be so rude - it is a truly beautiful shawl that anyone should be thrilled to receive _________________ Cazzie |

goodness, how did I miss this?
Gill, the shawl is absolutely stunning! What an amazing piece of work, it's wonderful.
And I'm lost for words, well, lost for polite words that I can put on here, about the ignorance and rudeness and downright ungratefulness of the recipient, that's just totally unacceptable _________________

I missed this Gill with being away last week!!! Your shawl is exquisite!!!!!
The least you should be able to expect is a thank you. I have bee put off swaps other than here too due to people failing to hold up their end of the agreement.
I hope she gets in touch and gives you the well deserved thanks and appreciation you are due.
ps can I have you for my next swap as a pal _________________ " Onen i-Estel Edain, U-chebin estel anim"

I've just had a email from the organiser of the exchange to say that in her reply from my recipient, she said that she would email me. That was last week, and although I've still not heard from her, I now feel ready to send her another email, this time asking her if it arrived. I would like to ask a couple of other things, but for once am lost for words.
Do any of you have any suggestions as to how would you deal with this? Thanks, Gill x
