Love the colours, they remind me of the sea.

Thankyou Fi, you're the second person to say that! They look more lovely in real life, i have to say and the yarn is really nice to knit with. It's not at all hard like Opal, and even the Allsorts is kinda hard too, but not as much.

The cabley sock is having it's heel flap done now - i did one more cable cross, although now i think about it i don't hink i did enough plain rows before it Confused
Oh well, it looks lovely anyway Cool

The Allsorts sock is now 3 inches into the foot and the pooling has sorted itself out Cool

Muscari (looks more like lavender flowers to me Wink ) now has three repeats done and is ready for it's heel Cool

I heart multiple sock knitting Very Happy

I'm in awe of you Franney, they are lovely socks!
At the moment my brain hasn't got space for more than one plain stocking stitch project, even though the spirit is willing Smile

Rattlesnake Creek:

Not sure if i'm taking socks for camping knitting, i do really need to work on my BPT so i can start the February Lady Sweater KAL that my knitting group is doing! Very Happy

I just love that Allsorts yarn - the name really fits.
The other two look great as well , it's just that I am rather partial to liquorice allsorts, best not to buy a bag it doesn't last long  Very Happy

It does, doesn't it. They are so bright "in real life", i just love them!

So weekend knitting... got another inch on the Allsorts foot done and i have just finished the gusset decreases on the Rattlesnake Creek sock so as that's going to be stocking stitch and 2x2 rib for the foot it has been demoted to easy knitting and i'll work on the Lavendula (heheh renamed 'em) sock's heel now when i want something more taxing Very Happy

You genius - how did you know?   Shocked  That's exactly where it was, except it was under a barely started Apres Surf Hoodie not a Drops cardi  Very Happy   And my hunt turned up several others too that I'd forgotten about  Embarassed  it would appear that I have ahem *cough* erm, quite a few socks on the go at the moment   Embarassed   Rolling Eyes  Laughing

Ah, you see, i'm like Miss Marple you know Very Happy Wink

Good luck with the sockses! I have to say i am enjoyig having three different ones on the go at the moment, i don't know how i will feel about it when it comes to making three partners though.... Laughing

Sock update: Lavendula sock now has a heel... which fits quite nicely but as witht he cuff is too big... i can see my Mum getting this pair, she has size 7 feet so they might fit her better than me - can i trust her to love them and wear them though Confused

Rattlesnake Creek: another inch of foot to do in 2x2 rib then it's on to toe one! Very Happy

Allsorts: not done much lately, haven't needed mindless knitting since the weekend cos i've been home so they've taken a back seat, probably until this weekend when we have a 4 hour drive on Thursday and Sunday Very Happy
