Yes they look doubledutch till you actually sit in front of one, then it all falls into place and before you know it you are spinning and you will be asking your DS to contribute towards your new wheel  Laughing  Laughing  Enjoy  Very Happy

You could start with a spindle... you'd learn all the "hand" stuff, the drafting etc and then when you get a wheel  Wink  you'd just need to do the feet.
Much easier than learning both at once.

I agree with n. I started with a spindle. Go for it iwth the spinning tuition. All those gorgeous fibers yo ucan buy. An excuse for an entire new stash.
