Oh, what else I would do with two 50l containers? Throw them away? They have 10 year guarantee, so naturally I'd need to find something to fill them with...

All beautiful socks! Well done! I'm intrigued by "Opal factory test colour", I don't think we get that stuff in the UK! It's lovely _________________

I like the test colors more than regular lines! Here are some examples:
Only place I know which stocks them is Marianne's Opalwolle in Germany. They list them as "Opal Aboknäule". I think they get new yarns every two months, you can see available ones here
Marianne and Magdalena, the shop owners, speak very good English. I've forgotten how to write in German, so I always use English with them. And German Post is ridiculously cheap!
Edit: These "test colors" are actually limited edition yarns which are one offs or no longer available lines. The factory makes one lot and when it's gone, it's gone. All examples in this thread are Opal Abo Mai/Juni colors. |

Yes it would be a real waste of money not to fill them up _________________ Ali xxx |

Lovely socks Hanne - good luck with the challenge! If i didn't do anything else ever i could possibly knit a pair a week but i think i'd get bored or lose the impetus
The Monkeys i have just done are one of the Opal "test" colours but i don't like them as much as yours _________________

Lovely socks - I don't think I could do that many in a year - I would knit nothing else!
