I am very excited. I have just paid my deposit towards a Weekend Retreat later in the year. There are still shared rooms available, I have just taken the last single room.

I am very excited. I have been well and truly bitten by this sock bug of late. I have worked some extra shift this last few days, with some more coming up later this month,  so this will be my reward Very Happy

It's the last weekend in November FatCat.

I saw it on Ravelry before i went to bed this morning, and told myself if it was still available when I woke up I'd book it.

I got the email about it yesterday & thought long & hard but to be honest can't afford it just now. It's not just the cost of the course but also traveling to Norfolk & is too near Christmas.

I know you'll have a fantastic time Joy & look forward to hearing all about it.

It IS a lot of money isn't it, but some of the cost is the cost is for the course itself and the rest is accommodation costs. I am fortunate in some ways that we are so very short of staff  that extra work is always available - but it's a mixed blessing Wink

I will earn enough extra this month to pay for it, so in a way it's nice to have something to show for the extra hours. I'm still not sure I'm an experienced enough sock knitter  Confused  - I'll just have to get cracking on those Monkeys won't I Laughing

edited to add we had a lovely family holiday in Mundsley a few years ago Blossom, it was beautiful there. We visited Sandringham while we were there.
