|
|
I have made some progress on April's theme - which is showers - and have been using the lovely colours which Carolinne sent me in the swap. Here's a few of the squares (I've done more now):
I'm not sure if I will do May's theme though, I might just finish April and wait for June.
Anyway, inspired by Binty's lovely quilt so far, I thought I would lay out my squares and see what the Babette blanket is looking like. So here it is:
I'm still enjoying doing it, so I'm not giving up!

It's mostly Garnstudio Karisma, which is DK, and some unknown stashed DK, and some Sirdar Click DK which is what I got in the swap.
I'm using DK insteadof fingering weight because I wanted a larger blanket, it seems to be working out alright. I'm actually using the saem size hook as in the pattern. _________________

I really love the asymmetry of it Carol, which surprises me inasmuch as I usually like things to be symmetrical. Your squares really work together.
It's going to be stunning. _________________
