Hoorah, not only are socks finished, but I've worked out how to upload the pics to photobucket too!
So, pair of socks in SWTC Tofusies - lovely and soft to work with and gleefully received by my niece!
Worked cuff down, short row heels and finished with a zig-zag bind off.

Have a look here under the bit about toes. This also describes the method I've used for the short row heels.
What I like about the zig zag bind off is that it's much quicker than kitchener and means you don't change from knitting needles to sewing needles. _________________ Ravelry - auntiemabel
