Actually I MUST have that book cos it looks very familiar It's lovely Don't think I'd do it in Trinity tho. But lovely in the tweed or a merino.

Went to New Lanark yesterday - through the snow! Unfortunately only had a few minutes in the shop. being harassed by others. The chunky is in the shop, and also the 1p/g aran hanks. Only had time to grab a couple of packs of dk - managed to knit the sirdar cabled hoodie out of 10 balls so should be enough. Got forest green in silk mix and sandstone ecru in wool dk. Wish I'd had enough time to sort out some aran hanks as there was a burgundy colour that I liked . _________________

It's quite rough on the ball, but really softens up when it's blocked/when you knit with it. _________________

We just simply hadn't allowed enough time - we didn't go in the shop or the millworkers house either which are my favourite bits. _________________

Cazzie
they are ringing me back. Can't see a paler blue in the silk mix but going to ask them. Debs is right , they are doing some of the colours listed in the Heathers in silk mix...so going to ask about sky haze and iris _________________ Jackie
