oh, I'm not sure which foot that is then.
I got the general purpose foot, a satin stitch, a zipper, a blind stitch and a button hole foot. Is it any of those then? that's all that came with my machine

| melody yarns wrote: | You should have a bigger foot and smaller top-stitching foot with your machine CJ - it's slimmer and have one side bigger than the other. That's the one you use for top-stitching the other broader foot with the two sides about equal lengths you use for seaming, zig-zag and stuff. |
Mmmm don't think I've got one like that.
I'm just trying to persuade OH to help me position a couple of darts in my skirt. I thought it would be too small - but it's too big (which is better!) - I was going to take in the seams a bit more but I think I may as well try a couple of darts. _________________ Sharon |

I've done pleats, not tried darts yet.
I've definately not got a foot like that, I had a look at them. So, the ones I ordered were a rolled narrow hem foot and a 1/4" quilting foot for topstitching quilts, as I fancy making the odd quilt or two eventually and I'm sure I can use it on bags too - well I hope so. I also got a hem gauge thingy to screw onto the machine - not sure where that goes, but it says it fits my machine, so I might have some fun this week. _________________ Ravelry ID ~ ChristinaJL |

I'll be watching your progress with your new 'feet'. I've been using my old Singer and its one foot for 5 yrs now.
I was reluctant to spend money on accessories as Mr CB promised a newer model this year.
However, Mum sent me her sewing machine via courier when I was in Spain and now I'll be on the lookout for accessories and special feet for that one.
Good luck with the bag - it's beautiful. Espcially the colours! Yum!
