I remember you getting them last year from Germany Debs The Wool Baa and others are selling for £5 a ball so not bad but not as bargainous as yours I like ones that knit up in broad stripes like that. And the mix of blues is really stunning.

Wow Ali, you've got a good memory!!
I thought at the time that I could knock up socks in bargain yarn and not worry too much if it all went wrong Then I had all that college work to get along with and it all went a bit pear shaped as far as knitting socks was concerned.
Thanks for all you comments about the yarn colour! There is some aqua green and peacock green mixed in the stripes as well, which just adds to the feeling of being all at sea.....  _________________ Melody's blog
