Aww, love you too!   Wink  Laughing  I did remember you posting up about holey socks, but didn't want to name and shame you  Very Happy

It is very useful isn't it?  Oi, Mods?!  Perhaps you could make this thread a Sticky please?  So we can easily find it again when our socks get holey?

Thank you  Very Happy

Sticky it is.

Personally I always thought the best way to darn socks was to study the hole very carefully, say "Oh darn!" and then go out and buy yarn to make a shiny new pair Very Happy

A really useful video if you've got a mushroom.  Any bright ideas what to use as an alternative or how to get your hands on one? Mushroom that is.

I used to use my mushroom mainly to sew on brownie/guide/cub/scout badges.  It was just right to keep the badge in place on the fabric.  I  think I got it at an antique/collectibles fair.  I don't have it now - can't think what happened to it.
