Hi,
I started this a couple of weeks or so ago, I have used DK weight flamingo opal yarn. So far I have done 2 repeats and have one and a bit to go. I am really enjoying this pattern, and have found it fairly easy. I have made a few mistakes but naughtily have corrected them as I went rather than unpick it.

I have tonight finished this shawl, I am so pleased with it.
It took 2.5 balls of opal DK, relieved that I brought 2 extra rather than the one. Not sure what happened but I ended up with 399 stitches otn rather than 301. WHich would I suppose account for the extra yarn when 2 should have been more than enough. From what I can see there doesn't appear to be any mistakes in it and all the pattern repeats went well.
Jessica is after this as well, so I have promised to make her one as well, not sure about blocking it, I quite like it the way it is, plus I don't have the space to block it out either, it might have to wait until the weather gets a bit warmer
