Thank you all
I'm now trying to finish off the last 3 inches of sleeve on a Debbie Bliss Child's Hoody, something that was promised to my little niece about 3 months ago. I have to admit to casting on a sock for DH in a sort of grey mix sock yarn from Woolcraft, never tried it before but it feels quite nice. I've already told him that they won't be done in time for Christmas though
As for a pair of socks for me, Anni sent me some gorgeous sock yarn the other day in a tropical blue and florida orange colour, so cheerful. I'm saving that to play with as I watch some after Christmas tv knitting accompanied by a large mug of tea/g&t (glass not mug....oh I don't know though ) chocolate and/or nuts.
I must make a few lists today, all this sock knitting meant a few things have been left. I have made lots of post-its by the telephone which all need a bit of collating so I can do everything tomorrow. I've got 12 coming Christmas Day, so my knitting will be a much welcome relief on Boxing Day when it's just me, DH, DS! and 2 plus lots of leftovers so they can fend for themselves yay!
Tracy
