Both beautiful!  And you did put the shawl up here, I remember that you'd dyed the yarn yourself and it's stunning  Very Happy

Laughing  Laughing  at pictish.  yes, I think I put it up on here a while ago.  Maybe I forgot.   Confused   It's definately on Rav though.   Wink

yes, lace is not so scary, just got to make sure I can place my markers and get plenty of peace and quiet or else I bodge it up.   Rolling Eyes

Anni, I'm currently knitting a shoalwater in very yummy Wollmeise.   Razz   Sticking to 4ply though, cos laceweight taxes my little brain too much at the moment.   Embarassed

I like lace in 4ply. Do  quite a lot in 4ply. It's fine enough to make a lightweight shawl but not quite as scary as lace and it's quicker. And with so much hand dyed sock yarn around to choose from it's a great idea for lace. Very Happy
