The link is here http://www.bluemoonfiberarts.com/sockClub_detail.php?sock_club_id=2 but be warned, they put the price of the club up considerably last time round and its Shocked Shocked Shocked (but very delicious yarn as I know someone who has some).

I think the problem (or not for Blue Moon), is that they have very carefully marketed the STR range and kept supplies extremely limited thus creating a feeding frenzy over their yarn. STR has also tapped into a lot of the more famous knitters, like Yarn Harlot thus ensuring they build a name for themselves. Its now got to the stage where people are prepared to pay over the odds just so they can get hold of some, and for some people, keeping up with the Jones sort of thing (no offense intended to anyone). I think its nice yarn but I wouldn't pay that for it and can think of lots of other yarn that is equally as nice - Lorna's Laces for a start. Just my two cents worth, shall get off soapbox now Very Happy

It is pricey, but the yarn is the nicest sock yarn I've ever used - much nicer than Lorna's Laces and would be slightly higher up my list than Cherry Tree Hill, which I also love.
Lorna's Laces have gorgeous colourways but I prefer a slightly more robust yarn (must have very aggressive feet Confused )

Just my opinions.

*faints at the price* Shocked

It does look nice. I wonder how it compares to colinette then, cos I think the jitterbug is way nicer than LL?? Maybe I should see if colinette could do a sock club?? Razz Razz
