I reckon that the smallest size could be made out of one 400g ball of aran Terri. I think I made the medium size (I can't remember tbh Rolling Eyes ) but used a bit of a fifth of a 100g ball to finish the neckband off. I could probably get away with knittng a smaller size as it's very stretchy since it's knitted in rib.

I like the style so much that I've got a shedload of aran weight yarn ready to be knitted into the same design several times over Embarassed I am a sad, sad knitter.... Laughing

I've got some purple wendy aran that I was going to make cozy with, but it doesn't really match our living room colours so I've changed my mind about using it for that, I could make a cardi with it Confused or I've some shetland aran too, actually, I've probably got a load of aran I could use Embarassed

It's easy to make longer as well, as the button borders are knitted from the bottom upwards; I'll probably make mine longer when I knit it again. Cool
