|
|
I did it!! I finished a pink pair for October last night!! They are currently airing as I washed them to even out the uneveness. I'm so thrilled that I actually got a pair finished this month. Maybe I shall have a pair finished for November too as I only have a small amount to do on the Las Vegas socks.
All this sitting around on train stations has some benefit at least

Well done Debs! Socks are a great portable knitting project and I think they go much quicker when you knit them in times like travelling, waiting etc _________________

My larger projects have been a Paris jacket knitted with back and fronts together, making each row seem extremely long, and the CPH which I'm knitting with 400g balls of aran so socks have fitted the bill nicely! Oh, and Dad's scarf is just plain boring I'm afraid _________________ Melody's blog

I know, I want to start knitting a cardigan (Eris) but after having only really knitted socks for months its a bit daunting! _________________

I know, it's a weird feeling isn't it? I cast on the stitches to knit a plain cardigan with one button on Friday evening - all stocking stitch, raglan shaping and with 50g balls of smooth DK yarn. It's a lovely relaxing project and I can knit whilst I watch the TV! Luxury! _________________ Melody's blog
