Here's my first pair of socks for September. I finished them last week and they are in Regia India colour cotton/wool
I'm hoping to get a second pair finished as I'm about to turn the heel on the second of a pair of Monkey socks in Lorna's laces Desert flower.
Here's the first one.

They both look really pretty and the Lorna's Laces really suits the Monkey pattern well. _________________

Lovely pjmck, just my colours too. Good luck finishing your second monkey. I've got two on the needles at the same time and trying desperately to get the pair finished before midnight tmrw in order to get them in to September's Challenge. I'm just past the heel (top down) but need to work today so could be a tight squeeze!! _________________

What pretty pinks, both of them. The more I see of the monkey pattern, the more I think I shall have to have try socks again. I have managed a paltry three pairs this year. _________________

Love the Regia colour combination and Desert Flower has always been a favourite of mine (so much a favourite that I haven't even knitted it up despite it lurking in my stash for the last couple of years...the pattern will come to me one day )

Thanks everyone. Hawkesley, I bought the Regia india from Ebay. I think Web of wool might have it.
