What a lovely idea Please can I have the grubby tiger if it's still going.
Now I do have something to pay forward and I will sheepishly send it out to an unsuspecting forum member, they'll know when they get it in the mail and hopefully they will post here on this thread to say they've received it. I think it could be used at for christmastime too

The last grubby tiger is gone.... Is anyone going to actually knit a grubby tiger?
And doesn't anyone have a baby to give that cd to? A grandchild perhaps? It would be the perfect stocking filler to help convince an older sibling that Father Christmas gives stockings to babies too....
n
What's lurking in your cupboards then? It doesn't have to be knitting related remember.
I have this bag of mini skeins and I'm wondering about knitting kits for small peeps.... I need to work on that one a bit. Is it easier for beginners to work in fat yarn do you think?

I think this is an excellent idea n and I have taken the liberty of adding a photo.
Last year I knitted a Colinette throw, and had approximately 200g left over. For over a year I have thought "I must do something with these leftovers" full knowing they are likely still to be sitting there in another twelve months time
There are three green mohairs, some fandango, prism and zanziba.
If anyone would like it they would be very welcome to it

Still no takers there yet then Joy I've posted my PIF item, so one member will be getting a little surprise in the post, maybe tommorrow, not sure how quick the postal service is elsewhere, I know I'm still waiting for mail that was expected last week sometime and no sign as yet _________________ Paula x

It's probably not the best photo in the world Paula to be fair, because the colours are lovely irl.
But it's here if anyone wants it. _________________

Have you got a pic of the throw? It looks like pretty yarn.

I knew I'd have one somewhere
Here it is finished
And a close up of the colours.
I'd always thought I might make a cushion cover to go with it, but of course have never got round to it. As I said, there's a shade over 200g of yarn there if anyone would like it.
It was mum's Christmas present last year. _________________

Gosh Aknita, that throw is beautiful. I love the textures and colours of the yarns - they're gorgeous!
I don't seem to have the patience to knit much at the moment so I'm sewing Katie a fleecy blanket instead.
