But not both the same, I couldn't resist either of them!
The first one is Elfine using Bright Dyes Sock club yarn whilst the second is Bright Dyes BFL/Alpaca in a gorgeous orangey summer marigold shade. The cuff is knitted using UK Alpacas sock yarn and the pattern is Noughts n Crosses from this month's Sockamania. I bought the yarn whilst meeting Anni at Chrissy's stand at Fibrefest which means these socks will always be a reminder of a lovely day out.
Since taking this photo, I've ripped the heel out of Elfine as I didn't like the original. Looks like it's heel flaps all the way for me then

The elfines look lovely, but bring me out in a cold sweat when I think of mine (I still don't really like them to this day).
It's lovely to see the autumnal colours _________________
