Started and almost finished the first sock but I will not get these finished before tomorrow night.......................I still have to finish the second July sock..................

That looks lovely.
I have yet to try this pattern.
Is this the origional monkey pattern? I am sure I have seen them somewhere where the purl stitches were knitted and that gave a nice effect too. _________________ http://traceyscrafts.blogspot.com

It is Piece of Beauty Merino sock yarn (unfortunately discontinued) in Granite Falls.
The colour is more turquoise in better light.

I knitted my Monkey socks in Granite Falls too. Your sock is looking fab. I love the Monkey pattern and wouldn't mind knitting another pair soon.
