My dpns needed a tidy up so I decided to have a go at making a case for them. This is what I came up with.
I roughly followed some instructions on a blog (details on my blog) but did struggle with bits as I'm not that experienced with sewing. I found it so difficult to cut the fabric out accurately so this affected the finish, and the bias edging was a complete nightmare so its a bit of a bodge job. But it really works well. I used some fabric I got cheap off ebay, and used a piece of Aida to give strength to the case. I'm actually really pleased with it, but it is very rough and ready (unlike Bernie's immaculate sewing!).

Definitely not! I started making it at around 3pm yesterday and at 8.10pm realised I was starving and hadn't had dinner
Thank you for all your lovely comments. I'm honestly not being modest as the finishing is dreadful in places, but it does the job. I very nearly threw the whole lot in the bin when I got to the bias edging but am glad I perservered.
