Haven't been to Fuengirola since I was 12 years old. Went on hols with my Grandparents (my Gran who passed away this week and my Grandad who passed away in May). We had a fantastic holiday and the hightlight was a day trip to Morocco. I bet Fuengirola has changed a lot since then (read - a lot more built up now).

That's the thing that amazed me a 3 years ago whe nwe drove to Costa Blanca to stay there for the whole month of August. We drove down along the Spanish Coast all the way from the French border to Costa Blanca and almost all of it is built up. Shocked Really shocked me. Where my parents have their flat it's non stop building. The girls started joking around about all hte cranes we saw everywhere when we drove down.

What a great bunch of Uncles we have. Mine lives in Fuengirola! Smile

What part of Fuengi does your uncle live? I used to live there and my parents are still out there. Steven & Katie have just returned from 10 days.

Nice sock! Very Happy The dyeing turned out very well. I'm also a convert to Magic Loop, although I still use DPNs too.

Have a great holiday! Are you allowed to knit on the plane yet? Last time I was in the UK crochet hooks were allowed, but not knitting needles.

I'm back and my Spiralling socks are finished! Very Happy

I could only knit in the evenings as it was simply too hot to hold needles. With temperatures of 39/40 degrees, we didn't stray too far from sea, pool or iced drinks. These were mostly knitted on the balcony, overlooking the sea, in fading light and with a bowl of olives and glass of wine for company....insert big sigh here Smile

They are lovely!
It's chilly today, so you probably need them too.
