They do look good though PL. Well done for persevering. I don't mind toe-up or top down. I'll have to investigate this pattern later after I've cast on for Sweet Pea for August.

But they look so purdy PL...and they certainly have been a labour of love.
I'm pretty sure that if you reverse the pattern it will work the other way too:D _________________

The socks look gorgeous and so does the yarn. I'm sure they'd work top down but you'd need to reverse the lace pattern to get the hearts theright way up. Perhaps when I get back from Norway I'll ahve a go at doing that. Well done for persevering with them even though you don't like toe up. _________________ www.annisknittingblog.blogspot.com - My Blog

| They look lovely, hope you're enjoying it now you are onto the pattern. Im doing the same patern but used turkish cast on for the toe and found it a doddle, up to the first heel and delaying it now while I get DS1s socks done. |

I didn't think of reversing the pattern. Just as well someone has a brain today. _________________ Kate

Well done Piglottie on persevering with your toe up socks!!! They look beautiful so will be well worth the hassle when they are finished. I still haven't tried toe up cause I'm too scared too. _________________ Hawkesley

Those are gorgeous PL, it's really hard to finish something you don't enjoy making, keep going, they'll be worth the effort. _________________ Jo

Beautiful job, PL! Toe-ups don't really float my boat either, but they have their limited uses for me, I suppose. I think you're really game to have persevered. Think how proud you'll be when you finish #2!
